Cement

Cement refers to inorganic power that has the property of hardening when mixed with water. Portland cement accounts for majority of cement consumption and used in general construction and civil engineering works. Slag cement is made by further pulverizing fine blast furnace slag power made with the byproduct of steel manufacturing industry and mixing it with Portland cement. Since it has higher fineness of powder than Portland cement, it provides better workability with ease of construction even with the same quantity of material. Since it is manufactured through highly efficient process by using blast furnace slag generated from steel mills as a byproduct, it has outstanding price competitiveness than Portland cement, thereby making it highly economical in large scale construction projects in particular.
